Some critics have been describing “Hector and the Search for Happiness" as "Eat, Pray, Love" for men. While it’s not exactly like that, "Hector" does share the same elements of finding happiness within one’s life, and title character Hector (Simon Pegg) travels around the world on his journey.
We’ve all been there; as we grow older we question if we’ve ever truly discovered what it means to be happy. “Hector” explores this with a deft mix of comedy, drama and outright insane moments.
Moviefone Canada caught up with Pegg and his co-star Rosamund Pike at the Toronto Film Festival, where we spoke about the lessons this movie can impart, how much fun they had together, and how the film is making people reconsider their lives.
"Hector and the Search for Happiness" opens in theatres on September 26, 2014.
